Profile:

Mr. Jean Vidal-Font is an Associate with the Firm’s Litigation Department.  His practice includes civil litigation matters related to insurance claims, contract law, and trademark law. Mr. Vidal Font has also procured trademark applications and represented clients before the United States Patent & Trademark Office and the Puerto Rico Trademark Office, and he has litigated intellectual property matters both at the state and federal levels.

Prior to joining the Firm in 2009, Mr. Vidal-Font started his career as an Associate of the San Juan boutique law firm of José A. Cuevas-Segarra, concentrating in civil litigation. During that time, Mr. Vidal Font worked on high profile cases such as the “ Paseo Caribe”  litigation before the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico and also served as an assistant editor for Dr. Cuevas Segarra’s Treatise on Civil Procedure, Supplemental Edition

Mr. Vidal-Font has also offered several seminars on intellectual property topics such as copyright, trademark, and trade secrets. He also publishes a blog on intellectual property issues, http://www.actualconfusion.com.
