Profile:

Mrs. Marta L. Rivera-Ruiz is a trial attorney and Associate with the Firm’s Labor and Employment Department. She is a member of the Firm’s Strategic Planning Committee.

Mrs. Rivera-Ruiz has represented employers, both in the private and public sector, in all issues regarding labor and employment law before administrative agencies, state, and federal courts at the trial and appellate level. She has also represented international clients in litigation related to commercial use of trademarks and brand names before the state and federal courts.

Before joining the Firm in 2004, Mrs. Rivera-Ruíz worked as Law Clerk to Puerto Rico Supreme Court Associate Justice, Hon. Francisco Rebollo-Lopez (2001-2002), and later as Law Clerk for United States District Court Judge, Hon. Daniel R. Dominguez (2002-2003), with both responsible for conducting extensive legal research, drafting of legal memoranda, and draft opinions.
